Pre-shipment inspection — see your units before they ship

Our policy is stated plainly: original brand-new products, with a pre-final inspection before shipment. This page explains how to put that inspection to work on your order.

What to ask for, and when

Ask for pre-shipment inspection photos when you place the order — not after it ships. The units allocated to your order are photographed before dispatch: exterior condition, model labels and quantities against the order lines. Across our switch range the same stance holds: a policy against refurbished, remanufactured or repackaged equipment across the inventory.

If your own receiving process needs specific views — serial plates, port close-ups, carton condition — name them in the order notes and they join the inspection set.

What the inspection record contains

Each inspected order produces a record the buyer keeps: the lines checked against the order, counts agreed to cartons, label readings transcribed, and photographs of the sealed cartons as they left. The record is written against your order reference, so it can be filed with the project's own receiving documents.

The record travels with the shipment paperwork rather than following it. When the goods arrive, the receiving team works from the same document the desk worked from — the comparison at destination starts from what was recorded at origin.

When something is found

An inspection that finds a discrepancy stops that line, not the shipment. The finding is reported with the record — count, label or condition, stated plainly — and the options are quoted alongside it: a corrected replacement line, a partial shipment without the line, or the order amended as the buyer directs.

Nothing is substituted quietly and nothing is shipped 'to be sorted out at destination'. The buyer's decision on a flagged line is the instruction the desk works from, and the record shows the finding and the decision together.

Your own inspector, coordinated

Buyers with their own inspection arrangements are welcome to use them: the desk coordinates access to the consolidated goods before sealing, and the order's own record notes that the buyer's inspection ran in parallel. Two readings of the same goods are better than one, and the scheduling is arranged through the order's contact thread.

What coordination needs is notice: name the arrangement when the order is placed, so inspection time is built into the consolidation plan instead of negotiated against a sealed shipment.

Common questions

Does inspection cost extra time?

Ask when you order; the inspection sits between allocation and dispatch, inside the normal order flow.

Can I request specific photo views?

Yes — name them in the order notes and they are added to the set.

Does inspection delay the rest of the order?

Only the flagged line is held. Unflagged lines proceed, and the record shows exactly which lines were held and why.

Can inspection cover goods from a multi-brand order?

Yes — the inspection runs over the consolidated order as a whole, whatever brands the lines carry.
