Ready-stock sourcing — ask against your list
This is a stock-led operation, with a desk that handles urgent replenishment alongside planned project orders.

Stock questions are list questions
Availability is answered per line, not in general: send the models and quantities you need and ask which lines can be covered from ready stock. The reply prices the list and marks the stock position line by line, so a project can split — stock lines moving now, the rest following on the same order — with full information.
Urgent replenishment for an existing estate follows the same path: name the failed or missing item exactly, and the stock answer comes back against that string.
Make a stock inquiry answerable
- Exact model strings — stock is held by part number
- Quantity needed per line, and the quantity that is urgent
- Delivery city, since freight decides what 'fast' means
- Whether a split shipment is acceptable
How availability is worked, per line
A ready-stock inquiry is processed line by line against the channels this desk buys through, and each line returns in one of three states: priced as asked, priced with a note, or flagged with the question that would settle it. The quotation shows the state of every line — a list that comes back shorter than the one sent is a list with silent drops, and that does not happen here.
Partial answers are quoted as partial. If part of a list prices cleanly and part needs work, the quotation prices the ready part in full and carries the rest as open lines, so a project can proceed on what is ready without pretending the rest is settled.
Mixed baskets: current lines and long-tail lines
Most urgent lists mix the ordinary with the obscure: current switches beside a discontinued spare, a mainstream camera beside a legacy gateway. The desk runs both kinds through the same consolidated process, so the long-tail lines get the same junction and string checks as the headline lines.
Long-tail lines are where descriptions matter most. A nameplate reading, a photograph description in words, or the installed unit's exact string can be the difference between the right spare and a near-namesake. Send what the unit shows; the desk works from the strings it is given.
Consolidation is where ready stock pays
Lines confirmed through different channels still arrive as one order: consolidated, checked as a basket, and shipped together to the named city. The saving is not only freight — it is one customs picture, one delivery to schedule, and one quotation to approve instead of a trail of separate small orders.
If a project prefers the opposite — ready lines shipped first, slower lines following — that instruction rides on the order and the quotation splits its freight accordingly. The default is one consolidated shipment; the choice is stated, never assumed.
Common questions
Can part of an order ship ahead?
Ask for a split when you inquire; the quotation marks which lines are stock-covered so the split is your decision.
Do you publish stock levels?
No — stock positions are answered per inquiry against exact models and quantities.
What happens if only some of my lines can be confirmed?
The confirmed lines are quoted in full and the rest return as flagged open lines — you see the whole picture and decide what proceeds.
Can a discontinued spare be sourced through this desk?
Send the exact string from the installed unit. Long-tail lines are checked through the same channels as current ones, and the answer states plainly what was found.
