Wireless controllers for managed WLAN designs
Controllers and management platforms for estates that run access points under central control — quoted together with the AP lines they manage.

Quote controllers with the estate they run
We quote wireless APs and controllers together: controller capacity is sized by the AP count and model mix on the same design. Send both lists in one inquiry, with the AP licence count the design assumes.
Where a design is cloud-managed or controller-less instead, say so in the inquiry — the quotation will then centre on the AP lines and any switching the design needs.
Include in a controller inquiry
- AP count and models the controller must support
- Redundancy expectation (single or paired controllers)
- Licence quantities named in the design, if any
- Whether switching for the same site is also needed
Capacity is counted in access points
Controller sizing starts from the estate the controller will run: AP count today, the growth the design allows, and the model mix — a controller's capacity is rated per AP and sometimes per client, and both numbers belong on the inquiry. Undersized control is a quiet failure: the estate works until the phase that crosses the limit.
Redundancy is the second decision. A single controller is a single point of failure for the whole wireless estate; paired controllers cost a second unit and its licences. State the design's expectation — the quotation prices the pattern named, not an assumed one.
Common questions
Can controllers and APs ship in one order?
Yes — they are quoted and consolidated together when both appear on the inquiry.
My design has no controller — is that a problem?
No. Many current ranges run controller-less or cloud-managed; note the management model in the inquiry.
Can licence lines be quoted with the controller?
Yes — name the licence quantities the design assumes and they are priced as their own lines on the same quotation.
