UniFi U7 sourcing — U7 Pro, U7 Lite, U7 Outdoor
A model-line sourcing page for the UniFi U7 family that leads our product index: U7 Pro and U7 Pro XG for dense areas, U7 Lite for cost-led rollouts, U7 Outdoor outside.

The current UniFi headline, by site
U7 inquiries are site inquiries: counts per property, the indoor/outdoor split, and the switching that powers the APs. Send the per-site model mix and the desk consolidates each property's kit, with PoE budget checked where switches join the order.
Estates mid-migration — part Wi-Fi 6, part Wi-Fi 7 — can be quoted in one list; name the generation per area so the model mix on the quotation matches the design.

Buying U7 units is buying the top of a tree
U7 access points sit at the top of a UniFi estate whose lower layers decide whether they perform: uplink speeds on the switching below them, PoE budget per port, and the management context they adopt into. A U7 inquiry that lists only APs gets the budget and uplink questions back; one that names the switching layer gets a quotation with the checks already run.
Send the estate's shape: AP counts per area, indoor and outdoor positions separated, and the switch models behind them. The desk flags any position where the named switch's per-port budget or uplink speed undersells the radio above it.
Generation honesty on mixed estates
U7 units commonly join estates that still run earlier UniFi generations, and the honest order keeps the generations visible: which areas are U7, which stay as they are, and what the spares policy is per generation. The quotation mirrors that split exactly, so the estate's map and the order's lines agree.
Where a design is still choosing between U7 and the 6E lines for part of an estate, mark the areas open. Both generations can be priced for the same areas on one quotation, and the project decides with the numbers in front of it.
The supporting lines make the headline true
Mounts, injectors where the switching cannot feed a position, and spare units are the lines that decide whether a U7 rollout finishes on schedule. They are small against the AP count and routinely forgotten; the desk's junction check raises them on the quotation when the AP list implies them.
For multi-site rollouts, the first site's priced bill becomes the template. Later sites are checked against it line by line — model choices, mount types, spare ratios — so site twenty matches site one unless the design says otherwise.
Common questions
Are all four U7 models listed?
Our index lists U7 Lite, U7 Outdoor, U7 Pro and U7 Pro XG — all four are quoted from this page.
Do U7 orders include the switches?
They can — add UniFi or other PoE switch lines to the same inquiry.
Can U7 units be quoted before the switching is chosen?
Yes, with the uplink and budget checks marked open — the quotation names them as checks still owed rather than passing silently.
Do outdoor U7 positions need separate lines?
Yes — outdoor units are different models in a different environment; list them with their positions and mounting heights.
